Wound care
Wound care involves medical interventions to heal a wound after injury. Specialized treatment is provided for wounds that are nonhealing or refuse to heal on their own. A vital aspect of treatment includes learning how to properly dress and care for a wound.

Treating wounds with hyperbaric chambers
Hyperbaric chambers are used to aid in the wound-healing process; combining oxygen with pressure inside a hyperbaric chamber helps serious and nonhealing wounds mend better and faster with less scarring.
Our center features two spacious single-occupant chambers which ensure patient comfort. Additionally, the hospital's highly trained staff delivers an integrated team approach to healing. This includes an expert evaluation and a personalized care plan for every patient who receives treatment in the oxygen chambers.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)
One of the reasons a wound may not heal is inadequate oxygen supply. When a wound does not receive the appropriate amount of oxygen, the cells are not able to regenerate quickly enough, which also increases the risk of infection. HBOT involves the delivery of pure oxygen into the pressurized chambers, to help wounds heal safely and quickly.
