That’s why it’s important that we partner with physicians and other medical professionals (Providers) who have the necessary qualifications and credentials to provide quality, safe and compassionate medical care to our community.
Credentialing and privileging
Our rigorous credentialing process follows Federal and State regulatory requirements, as well as accreditation standards for verifying the education, training, licensure and current competence in order to ensure that privileges are only granted to qualified Providers.

HCA Healthcare Center for Clinical Advancement
At the heart of great patient care is great nurses.
HCA Healthcare’s Center for Clinical Advancement (CCA) is dedicated to helping nurses continue their education through interactive and hands-on learning. The CCA offers new and existing nurses the opportunity to gain real-life healthcare experience through cutting-edge technology.
HCA Healthcare currently has 14 CCAs across the country, including co-location with the Galen College of Nursing. There are now two CCAs in Utah, located in Draper and Ogden. These centers contain some of the best-in-class tools and equipment to maximize clinical education. Features include collaborative learning technology, virtual and face-to-face interaction and dedicated classroom space. Clinical simulators, life-like mannequins and advanced simulation spaces allow nurses to experience real-life situations so that they can feel confident when caring for patients.
