I love this place

Lynda has been coming to cardiac rehab for a year after managing a heart condition and having a silent heart attack. She was living her life fatigued, with shortness of breath, and even had a spell of passing out on her front porch before her heart condition and previously undetected heart attack were discovered. Lynda received two stents at the cardiac cath lab at Lakeview and has felt significant improvements.

“I felt a major difference when they placed those stents and I had a better blood flow. I have more energy,” she said. “I have been very impressed with Lakeview.”

The cardiac rehab program has been vital to her improvement as well. Lynda started attending before the underlying reasons for her symptoms were discovered and has continued going through recovery from her procedures.

“I love to come here. The people here and the employees are so friendly and very kind and patient and understanding. They become friends,” she said. “I still want to be around for a while. I still want to do things. And I feel that this here — coming here — is helping that. Absolutely.”

In her free time Lynda has a big yard and a garden full of vegetables she enjoys tending to. She grows all kinds of produce, but her favorites are peppers. She has a whole row for them! She is looking forward to having more energy this year to work in her garden now that she is recovering.
