About Michael Sherman, MD,MS
Biography
Dr. Michael Sherman was raised in Farmington, Utah by Jeniece Sherman, a caring elementary
school teacher, and Richard Sherman, a skilled millwright and local handyman. Dr. Sherman
graduated from Davis High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from
Brigham Young University. After working as an engineer in Texas for four years, he earned a Master’s
degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the
University of Rochester Sc

My goal is to provide thorough, compassionate care of my patients' Gastroenterology diseases and
symptoms. I strive to provide meticulous preventive care to assist my patients in avoiding the
development of colon cancer. I respect my patients' autonomy and endeavor to provide them with
accurate information so that they can make informed decisions regarding their care.
