Dedicated ortho-spine unit
Our dedicated ortho-spine unit offers an environment that promotes optimal comfort and healing after surgery. Here, we provide physical therapy and constant monitoring to ensure you are ready for the transition home.
Additionally, we have a dedicated nurse—The Spine Academy director—who oversees your hospital stay and serves as a resource before, during and after your procedure.
The Spine Academy
Education prior to surgery creates a better state of mind for healing and results in a better recovery for patients. That's why we are proud to offer a comprehensive education program to our patients preparing for spine surgery at The Spine Academy.
The Spine Academy was created to provide information to help you and your family prepare for your surgery and recovery. (Your family members and caretakers are encouraged to attend the class with you.) This service is free and is supported by the spine surgeons and neurosurgeons of Utah County.
