Christina Fortugno is new Associate Chief Nursing Officer

Ogden, UT ─ Ogden Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of Christina Fortugno as the new Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO). Christina joins Ogden Regional from Lakeview Hospital where she served as the Director of Medical-Surgical, Ortho-Spine, Rehab, and Wound Care. In her tenure at Lakeview, Christina led her teams to achieve two Medical-Surgical Unit of Distinction honoree awards in Med-Surg and Ortho-Spine. She directly supported the success of the orthopedic service line receiving a 4th of 137 ranking in ortho programs across all of HCA. Her work directly drove the increase in hospital overall rating of nursing care from 47% to 97%. Additionally, Christina built and drove efforts to provide a more inclusive healing environment and workspace for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a graduate of HCA’s Director Development Program and is currently participating in the Executive Development Program.
Christina holds a Master of Science in Health Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been recognized by the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) as a Young Professional Voices honoree and recently achieved AONL’s Nurse Executive board certification.
Christina and her wife enjoy spending time with their friends, their French Bulldog and family. When not working, Christina loves being outdoors hiking, exploring, and golfing. She is also an exceptional cook.
