Part of the MountainStar Healthcare network of hospitals
At MountainStar, "just better" means making quality healthcare more accessible, efficient and convenient for our patients. It includes delivering friendly, personalized services closer to home - when and where they are needed.
Nationally recognized as a leading provider of safe, high-quality patient care, we are better meeting the needs of growing communities today. We are also poised to increase access to healthcare and further improve care as time moves forward.
"Not bigger" means taking a cost-effective, patient-centered approach to expanding our services. As a result, we are proud to deliver critical and often lifesaving procedures not found anywhere else in Utah or the Intermountain West.
For example, MountainStar cardiovascular specialists are the only surgeons in Utah and among a handful nationwide performing the innovative Mini-Maze surgery to treat atrial fibrillation. Our maternal-fetal medicine physicians are the only specialists offering in-utero procedures that save babies before they are born. All of these expert physicians diagnose and treat patients at multiple hospitals within our network.
The synergy of system
Within the MountainStar network, our hospital teams work closely with community- and hospital-based physicians to deliver patient care all along the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake County, Weber County and Utah County. Together, we're creating a strong foundation for better serving our patients - now and in the future.
Currently, our family includes eight hospitals in Utah, two in Idaho and one in Alaska. Our network also includes a psychiatric healthcare facility and a growing number of outpatient centers and physician clinics - including several that are open late.
