Salt Lake City, UT — MountainStar Healthcare, a Utah-based network of care sites serving more than one million patient interactions annually, announced today that four hospitals have been recognized by Healthgrades as 2023 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ recipients
Lakeview Hospital (Bountiful), Mountain View Hospital (Payson), Ogden Regional Medical Center and St. Mark’s Hospital (Millcreek) all ranked among the top 5% of all short-term acute care hospitals as evaluated by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting patients and providers.
“Across our Utah network, we are dedicated to protecting patients and advancing the quality of our care,” said Dr. Filip Roos, chief medical officer of MountainStar Healthcare. “Promoting patient safety is the responsibility of every single member of our team, and I’m proud of what this recognition from a trusted source like Healthgrades says about the commitment and skill of our clinicians, caregivers and supporting teams.”
This marks the 11th consecutive year in which Lakeview Hospital has received the Patient Safety Excellence Award, and the fourth straight year it has been named in the top 5% for patient safety by Healthgrades. For Mountain View Hospital, it’s the seventh straight Patient Safety Excellence Award and the second consecutive year in the top 5%. Mountain View Hospital also received the Outstanding Patient Excellence Award™ for the second year in a row.
