Cache Valley Hospital welcomes Kelsie Green as new CEO and CNO
Cache Valley native promoted to dual CEO and CNO role at MountainStar Healthcare's Logan hospital during 25th anniversary year
Logan, UT – Cache Valley Hospital is proud to announce the appointment of Kelsie Green as its new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, effective Monday, February 3. A Cache Valley native, Kelsie brings a wealth of clinical and executive leadership experience, along with a deep commitment to serving the Logan community and surrounding areas to her new role at her hometown hospital. Kelsie’s appointment comes as Cache Valley Hospital celebrates its 25th year of providing exceptional care to the community.
Kelsie has been an integral leader at HCA Healthcare – known locally as MountainStar Healthcare – for the past eight years, contributing to advancements in telemedicine, clinical leadership, and community outreach. Her career began as an emergency and trauma nurse, and she has held leadership roles in both rural and urban healthcare settings across Utah. Most recently, Kelsie served as Assistant Vice President of HCA Healthcare’s Virtual Patient Logistic Center, where she was instrumental in driving enhancements to enterprise shared service programs and leading operational growth initiatives.

In addition to her professional achievements, Kelsie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boise State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah, where she has also been serving as an adjunct professor in the healthcare administration program. She was recently honored with the 2024 Telehealth Excellence Award for her leadership in leveraging technology to improve stroke care for the HCA Healthcare Mountain Division.
Reflecting on her new role, Kelsie shared, "I am honored to lead Cache Valley Hospital during this special milestone in its history. As a lifelong member of this community, I look forward to continuing our tradition of delivering exceptional care while building on the hospital’s legacy of service."
Kelsie and her husband Chad, a firefighter, live in Cache Valley with their two dogs. They enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring new hobbies, such as golfing and ocean-side retreats.
The announcement of Kelsie’s leadership is particularly meaningful as Cache Valley Hospital marks 25 years of advancing health and wellness in Logan. Since its founding, the 28-bed facility has been committed to delivering patient-centered care and addressing the unique healthcare needs of the community.
