This innovative, full-service satellite emergency department opened in May 2010 as the first of its kind in Utah. Operated in Draper by St. Mark’s Hospital, it is staffed by a team of experienced and board-certified physicians who specialize in emergency medicine.
An onsite helipad enables swift air transport for patients whenever necessary:
- To the emergency department from surrounding communities and remote areas
- From the emergency department to a local hospital for additional treatment and recovery
The Lone Peak Emergency Center features onsite diagnostic imaging and laboratory services 24/7/365. Same day appointments are available.
Our imaging center offers routine X-rays and ultrasound as well as CT and MRI scanning to ED patients, and as ordered for outpatients by local physicians. The imaging center also offers diagnostic services just for women including digital mammography and bone density scanning.
These MountainStar outpatient services are conveniently located at the Lone Peak Medical Campus. Its medical office building features a growing number of primary care physicians and specialists who deliver a wide range of healthcare and wellness services to people in several South Valley communities.
